Here's the thread where you can dish out what you know about MHS grads from the class of 97.
this was my class, and I'd love to know what happened to all the "cool" people, and all the people noone cared about in highschool...
For example:
Mark Guy (that's me) is a web designer/developer, graphic designer and has worked for several companies in this field. I am also engaged to Casey Pelletier (whoda thunk it?) Mark is also in a heavy metal band, and plays out on a regular basis http://www.shroud-of-bereavement.com
Casey Pelletier is a second grade teacher at the Marsh Grammar school, has her Masters in reading and litteracy she is engaged to me (Mark Guy) and lives with me in Methuen

I remember the Pelletiers very fondly.
I am glad to hear Casey and you are doing well.
Is there any way you could update us on Nicole (1995) and Danielle (1991)? I used to have a huge crush on Danielle. Of course, I never had a chance considering she was 4 years older than me when I was 14.

Yes, that's Christine's little sister Julie. What band is your husband in?
Nicole and Danielle are both teachers in Methuen, Nicole teaches children with serious behaviour problems at the Timony, and Danielle teaches 1st graders at the Marsh (yes, the same school as Casey) Danielle is married and has a wonderful little girl that just turned 2 in December

He's not in a band right now, but he was in a band called Spek that did really well in the Boston scene from 99-02. He's going back to school for sound recording. He's been a few bands here in Maryland here and there, but Maryland's metal scene isn't all that great! He plays bass.
How is Julie? I don't know if she remembers me, but you can tell her Kate (Vaughan) says hi!

WOW!!! Hi Mark - It's Amy Lakin (if you remember me... HA HA) I was friends with Casey.. Please tell her I said hello, and congrats to you both! I'm married living in Houston, TX now, and 6 months preg with baby #1 (little boy from what I'm told...)

Hello All...This is Paul Kern....Now in FL...Seems like people are either in FL or still in Methuen. Congrats to Mark and Casey....Never saw that one coming. We need to get more people from '97 on her so we can have a good time next year at the "10".

it seems like this is the most disbanded class... the few that have remained in touch are largely out numbered by those of us that either never spoke or lost touch after HS.
let's make the 10 year a party to remember (or not remember because we were all blackout drunk HAHAHA)

Well I know that Susie Castillo is doing pretty good as I just saw her on MTV TRL. I think it is save to say she is the most famous one from our class. Can anyone think or a famous MHS grad? Does not have to be from '97 but do you know any?

Don't think so, but I think her sister Mariselle might be. She's from class of 1994.

Ahhh ok...I remember Mariselle. I believe I went to Central school with her. That's awesome. Well I wish the class of 1997 luck getting her to come. Maybe she can bring the entertainment with her.

Did the 10 year happen? This thread drops off in 2006. I remember all of you. I posted on another thread and may get around to reaching out to all of you individually. I am glad to see that 1997 is still banded together and that it consists of people that I was directly associated with one point. It is good to remember!

Wow, beauty and talent. Susie has done very well for herself. I was completely oblivious (kind of on purpose), to her rise to stardom during high school. I wish I had a Wikipedia page.

10 Year Reunion
Yes we had the 10 Year on November 23, 2007 right after Thanksgiving at Salvatores. At this point we're not sure when the next Reunion will be, but we have a Facebook Group for our class "Methuen High School Class of 1997" so that's probaby the best way to get any information and connect with the majority of our classmates.
