Who did you see that you really missed in the last 10 years? What were your favorite moments? Who really shocked you with how much they'd changed?
Let's hear it!
Alrighty, I'll get the ball rolling.
It was good seeing Len Bretton and Bill Clark again. It's good to see them doing so well for themselves. I never saw Erica Davis working as a sign language interpreter in the Lowell school system (Nice work there!) and Kim Keating and Kara Paine look as happy as they ever did back in the day.
It was also really cool sitting with Emily Brown and her husband for a bit. It really is a small world. Who'd have thought that despite moving around as many times as I have, I'd be living within 5 minutes of one of my classmates. It's really great having Kate (Vaughan) Toniolo moving back with her husband. With 10 years to catch up on and Kevin and I having so much in common, it made last night a real winner.
Heck I don't know man, for me it was great to see every single person in one room.
This will sound blasphemous, but it brought me back to walking the halls of MHS and saying hi to folks.
I think I might have run into 10 people total since we parted ways after graduation so last night it was excellent to see so many people.
I didn't realize there were so many great memories tied to so many people. Most people really end up hating high school for one legitimate reason or another, but I can't honestly say I hated it.
So last night for me was a way to catch up with all the folks that, at least for me, made it a place I didn't hate. In other words, a place with lots of people I really liked.
To those that made it out last night, thank you very much for making it a great night.
For those that did not get an invite, we promise it was not intentional. We tried to reach everyone single graduate at their last known address.
For those that did not have a chance to make it, I hope to see you at the 20 year reunion, but hopefully a lot sooner as well.
Amy (Boucher) Genest, thank you for all your hard work helping to put this together (she and her helpful family deserve most of the credit). I've received a lot of great feedback about the event and it's thanks to you.
To all, whether you do it through here, or in your own way, keep in touch. You know how to reach me and a whole lot of other people now, so make it happen.
Well I for one, had an absolute blast on Saturday night.
To be perfectly honest, for about 9 years after graduation I was totally anti-reunion. High School was not the best time of my life, and there were a few people that made it a living hell at times. But after joining this site I remembered all of the people I DID like and all of the good memories I do have. (For so long I had focused on the bad.) It was great to catch up with everyone a little bit older, a little bit wiser, and a lot more relaxed. I think everyone was a little nervous at first, as was evidenced by the bee-line most of us made to the bar after walking in! :D
Highlights for me were seeing Laura Mancini (who I had wondered the most about post-grad) after Jeff said he thought she'd be the least likely grad to come, not recognizing Maggie at first because her hair was so different, my "Happy Birthday" welcome to the jungle from Jeff and his date Jessie, dancing like a fool and most of all reconnecting with such great people after all of these years. Everyone was so nice and friendly, it was a genuinely wonderful evening!
I hope to see you all again in the near future, if not at the 15th/20th. Thank you Miguel and Amy, keep in touch everyone!!
I graduated in 1994. From looking at the pics it looks like you had a great turn out! Good job Miguel and Amy! The photos are lovely. Miguel, is there anyway to put the alumni's name's under the photos? THere are lots of faces that I can't remember names! I only recognize Amy Hardy, and I think Tara Lewandowski. I see you changed the name tags Miguel! You are too much.

All or any of my friends did not show up..but i did know a few people there.....it was still nice though...
I wish I could have been there. :( It's so nice to see all the pictures though. Thanks for posting them! There are a lot of faces that I remember well. What a great group of people! I will defiantely be at the next reunion...hopefully we'll have a 15th so I don't have to wait another 10 years to see all of you again!

Hey Nikki,
Names added.
I didn't want to put husband or wife on people who weren't married or vice versa so I made all guests....guests.

I had a great time! I'm still really close to a lot of my friends from high school (heck, we're all in each others weddings!) But it was great seeing the people that I had lost touch with....and hopefully we'll stay in touch now!
I don't think anyone changed all that much---but there was so much small talk going on, it's tough to tell. I'm actually upset that I didn't end up talking to more people!
Don't feel too bad, sadly, the music drowned out alot of conversations. But if you at least managed to get a means to contact your friends again, then it was all worth it :-)
But yeah..I wish I had talked to more people too. One thing that hasn't changed in 10 years is, I'm still not as outgoing as I'd like to be.
I had a lot of fun. It was worth the trip from Florida and again the trip from the Class of 85 reunion I ended up going to :? before finding out where I really need to be :x . It was great ! I have to agree with a couple of you when you say that most people have not changed. Everyone looks the same to me just a little older. I can't wait till the next one. I will definitely be there with my husband as well.
Yes, Michael, I think you can safely say you've changed since Sophomore year. :D You looked great and I'm so glad you came! I had fun dancing with you and Erica and Katie, even if they wouldn't play more regaton (sp?)
It was great to see all the people there. It's too bad that more people couldn't make it! That said I was really happy to see everybody there even if I didn't get a chance to talk to you all. I am only in touch with a handful of MHS grads on a regular basis and it was definitely great to see those I don't talk to that much or at all since high school. It was nice to see Katie Milton still has so much energy, Christine R., Maggie M. and Rachael F. are still some of the nicest gals around. I could go on and on about how great all you people are. I have this saying "People don't change" as in not fundamentally, and in this case it's a good thing!
Take care eveybody!
