SOOOO......
Let's hear all the fond and not so fond memories of your prom experiences.
I have one...I went to the Junior Prom with Jason Tripp after the pics were taken and dinner was served he was not seen all night. You may ask why where did he go. Well, Jason was outside hanging out with the limo driver. No worries though...prom just wasn't his thing. LOL We are dating now and we joke about how he ditched me for a limo driver. HEHE HEHEHEHEHHEHEH
Soooo....your turn
Re: Prom Night
Mr Whiting bought my tickets and I wore a suit instead of a tux. Other than that, dont remember it really. Wasnt really into it.
Left at 9:30, in my mom's beast car.
Meh. . . :?
Re: Prom Night
Memories of prom....geesh. What a topic! LOL! Ok, lets see...
I remember our Senior prom night falling on the same night as CCHS's graduation, so many of the girls lost their dates for half the night! (Myself included.)
I also remember that our prom song was very difficult to dance to (Natalie Merchant-These are the days), since it was in between a slow song and a fast song...we ended up making a big circle on the dance floor and doing the can-can. :? (I guess when all else fails, the can-can is a logical choice?) LOL
I remember how handsome my prom date was in his tux and how happy and grateful I was to be with him that night (even though he was missing for half of it)
I remember being sad that school was almost over and that we were all going our seperate ways.
I remember too many things to list!
Re: Prom Night
Both proms were a blast for me.
Jr. Prom....
I remember Tim and I being the first ones to show up at the junior prom, and the cameraman actually saying "welcome to the land of the little people" when he took our picture cause we were both short. In the photos the plant was at our necks instead of our waists like it was for everyone else.
I remember how special prom was because I was going with my boyfriend.
I remember shopping at gantos for junior prom and spending like $200 on my dress. I also had hugely large hair for that one.
I remember Mike Firth forcing his way into one of my pictures.
I remember that Mickey mouse vests were popular that year.
I remember all of us feeling nauseous from the crappy diburro's food.
I remember folks crashing at the beach house.
Sr. Prom...
I too remember that big circle at senior prom...I jumped into the middle of it and started taking pictures. I brought four rolls of film to that prom and used them all!
I remember "Blister in the Sun" being the song that got everyone out on the dance floor.
I remember Derek Demers (who I went to grammar school with and he went to essex aggie) coming to both of our proms.
I remember having everyone over to my beach cottage after prom. People slept on the beach, on the floor, on the couch, everywhere.
I remember convincing Liz to take Ryan Sawyer (a sophomore) to our senior prom because I liked him and I already had a date, and feeling soooo bad after that! We had fun anyway!
I remember unintenionally grabbing a friends body part in the middle of dinner
I remember how much fun I had with Mickey, my date, who went to Central Catholic but fortunately for me didn't graduate that night!
I remember driving Liz's dad's car home.
Re: Prom Night
I bet the Palmers have some interesting Prom memories...
Re: Prom Night
My junior prom, well, it wasn't the greatest....My date left me to do drugs, but the best part was that he stole money out of my purse to support his drug habit! :x Total loser!
However, my senior prom was much better! Went with my long time boyfriend Sal, and had a great time. After the prom a bunch of us went on a mini cruise in Boston, then we all went to the beach! We stayed at Roberto Russo's parent's beach house!
I remember Jenn DeCunto getting on a table to sing that song from the movie Beetlejuice, Dao, or something like that!
I remember Donny Mustapha, and Suzan Beauragard running around the prom interviewing people for our senior class video.
As for the Palmer's memories, Mike was my date to the 8th grade graduation dance! LOL

Re: Prom Night
I didn't go to my jr prom...but i went to central's sr prom and had fun...
I almost didn't go to the Sr. prom but Kerri Sammataro ( i think i spelled her name wrong) and Marisal Cintron (that could be wrong too) got me to go. I had a really good time from what I can remember...the cruise was very long!
I remember that I like the dress I wore to centra's prom much better than the one to my own prom-but they were both cool. I loved proms! I went to Central's Sr prom my freshman year...that was Terrible... but if I hadn't gone I wouldn't have become good friends with my buddy Chris.

Re: Prom Night
I might... I used to have two pictures, one with you in the background, and then one with you and your date...was her name Sherri? I was in chorus with her.
I'll check through my photos tonight, but I can't promise anything. :) And I'll try and find a scanner to scan it in.
Re: Prom Night
Oh my... what a story I have for this one... Well.. as any other girl who had "the perfect prom" planned in her heart... along with her "very special date"... Mine was a ruin... (okay sort of... I may be slightly exaggerating.. or perhaps it's not as big of a deal to me now as it was then...)
I had been dating my boyfriend for 2 years... had bought the tickets.. and a $300 dress (which was beautiful) and couldn't wait to have that romantic wonderful night. (I was such a sucker from romance back then...)
Until he dumped me a month before, started dating someone else a few weeks later.. and I was in a desperate hunt for a "date".. (because you know that close to prom day.. everyone has dates..) I ended up going with a family friend that I had known for years who went to Essex Aggie... (Thanks again Adam!!!) I was sooo bummed that it just wasn't turning out to be my dream prom that we ditched around 900... went home... changed into "comfy clothes".. went to a party at my friends apartment in Derry where I proceeded to get as trashed as I could.. then went home.. got fussed at for spending all the money I did and not staying (turns out my mom heard us come in and saw my dress hung up)... passed out on the couch... woke up the next morning and it was over...(Okay.. so I guess it wasn't that bad in the end)
I held on to my dress for a few years later figuring I may someday have a chance to give it a new memory.. but then I realized I had grown and the dress no longer fit.. (damn that southern cooking...)so I gave it to my friends little sister to wear for her prom...
The End!!!
